Elves
All
Elves are born of the Land and are bound to it. They
require only air and sunlight to live and do not
sleep. They must, however, enter a dream-like 4
hour trance once per day to rest their minds.
Bound to the Land as they are Elven tribes vary is culture
and appearance based upon their environment. This is
born over generations and they do change during travel
though they always feel a lengthening bond to their
homeland...
Ice
Elves: Withdrawn and more Imperialistic
than their southern kin, Ice Elves are forced into a
more organized society to survive in the harsh northern
wastes and withstand the barbarian human hordes. Ice
Elves have white to blue-white skin and hair and pale gem
colored eyes. Emperor of the Ice Elves rules from
his Ice Fortress on Mount Sarach...
Plains
Elves: Nomadic wanderers of the high
table lands of the west, Plains Elves are the least
civilized of their kin. They lead a simple, but
often war-like existence defending the high plains from
encroaching Orcs and Goblins. Favored
Class: barbarian...
Wood
Elves: also known as Red Elves;
Wood Elves center their society around an arboreal
forest-city. They tend to be the most wary of their
kin. Wood Elves have red to red-brown skin and hair
ranging from the color of straw to deep green. Favored
Class: ranger...
Dwarves
Dwarves
dominate the western mountains from the Blood Wood north
to the Dominion of the Ice Elves near Mount Saraach.
The vast underground (Northern, Mid, & Southern)

treasure only to never return...

Halflings
Halflings
are spread across the Hassi Islands from the tree cultures
of the northern Mangrove swamps to the farming communities
of the southern isle. There are rumors that
Halflings are a result of Gnomish experiments performed
upon human victims ages ago. Almost all Halflings
consider this a terrible offense as it insults their very
lineage...
Half-Elves
Half-elves are
extremely rare as Elves are generally not fond of humans
and some consider them a plague. Half breeds are
almost always the get of human fathers and tend to
be outcasts accepted by neither race. Elves consider
them tainted and many humans think they are spies.
Regardless of this distrust the Half-elves best chance for
acceptance is in the human lands particularly amongst the
Issi River Cities...
Half-Orcs
Half-orcs
commonly originate in the lands between the Misery and
Issi rivers where Orcan raiding parties from the Badlands
drive into civilized lands of the Issi river valley
seeking blood and plunder. The further a Half-orc
travels from the border lands along the Misery River the
more open prejudice he will encounter. Wherever he
goes he will be looked upon with fear and distrust...
Humans
Humans
dominate the central plains of the Land and the Issi river
valley south to the mountainous lands of the Southern
Confederacy. Barbarian tribes of humans range across
all of the north... |
