Damonnii
Damonnii society is a rigid caste based military
aristocracy. The lowest caste is the Uraii which
is composed prisoners of war, other slaves and those
not fit for military service. The Uraii form the
main labor force and tend to all menial aspects of
society.
The
Soldaii form the backbone of the phalanx. A youth
joins the other men of his regimental hall at age of
6 to begin his training. From age 16 to 20 all
Soldaii serve full-time in the phalanx supported by the
veterans who then serve every fourth year. Once
completing there initial term of service the Soldaii
returns to ply his family trade. In addition to
retuning to service every four years it is the duty of the
Soldaii to provide sons to bolster the ranks of the
regimental hall. All Soldaii have a minimum STR and
CON of 12 due to their life long military training.
Most meet this standard, but those who fail are deemed not
fit for military service and become Uraii.
Damonnii
are those who upon completing their initial term of
service chose to devote themselves to Amonn. They
are elevated to the rank of lieutenant with the hopes of
rising through the military system.
