Double
Crossbow
Generally produced in the City of Wenn by
gnomish tinkers, a double crossbow is constructed in an
over-under fashion and can be loaded with two bolts.
Each bolt can be fired with a normal attack action and
unlike a repeating crossbow is not an exotic weapon.
It can be used by anyone with the crossbow skill.
Crossbows of all three weights are available at 250% of
the normal cost. A double crossbow is reloaded
normally for it's weight one bolt at a time. |
Staff
of a Thousand Deaths
The Staff of a Thousand Deaths is a
masterwork of gnomish clock worked excellence. A
unique staff is created for each initiate of the Wenni
Monk who presents himself to endure the Night of
a Thousand Deaths. The weapon has four forms:
staff, double-bladed staff, nunchaku and kama.
The weapon can be changed from a staff to a double-bladed
staff as a free action, but changing to either the nunchku
or kama requires a move equivalent action.
Staff
of an Adept
The staff of an adept is masterworked and imbued the Ki
Focus (Sword and Fist, page 79). The adept is
proficient with all of the weapon forms and may employ
them all at his favorable unarmed base attack as a monk
special weapon, but he may only use the nunchaku and kama
forms to perform a Flurry of Blows.
Staff
of a Master
The staff of a master is magicked with a +2 enchantment
bonus.
Staff
of a Grandmaster
The staff of a grandmaster is magicked with a +4
enchantment bonus and an additional ability based upon the
shere or ring that the grandmaster represents.
Staff
of the Void
The staff of the grandmaster of the void is magicked with
a +5 enchantment bonus and has an additional ability
beyond that which was gained earlier. |
